what motivates us

As parents, we have the experience to show that not only does the presence of an braininjuried child in a family not lead to an unhappy existence, but may lead to numerous opportunities for enrichment, human, moral and social. In fact, as we have come to understand, thanks to the reality we live everyday, what our natural role is, we have been able to reinforce the ties of love and affection that are fundamental both within the family and the community.

The integration of our children in society comes from their families and not from institutions. It is the families that are part of and integral to society and it is the families who integrate their children into the community. In spite of the daily difficulties and the various problems that we have to face with our children, we can say, even if it sounds absurd, that the solidarity of the other families, of our friends, of voluntary workers, of this "culture of giving" that surrounds us makes us often feel that we are very lucky parents!
